Announcements:Sunday morning service begins at 10:00 am. Sunday School classes for age 3 through grade 6 are dismissed during the service. The nursery is available for infants and toddlers. If you would like to be included on our email list to receive announcements and reminders about upcoming events, please email Heather at [email protected] and request to be added. The Lamy family would like to thank our church family for your faithful prayers, encouraging notes, support, meals, gifts, and visits while Nate was in hospital. The church is a blessing, and we are thankful. You made a hard time easier. Early in 2025 there is a team of guys headed to Colombia to help transport Bible curriculum for one week with https://projectjesusforchildren.com/Anyone interested in serving with this mission’s opportunity is invited to join an information meeting @ Jon & Carissa Motz’s place on Saturday September 28th with Bill and Sandy Davidson. Come out for an afternoon of family fun including wagon rides, pony rides, games, bouncy castle, popcorn, snacks, prizes, and more. Hotdogs will be provided. This is a free event. Ladies, and young ladies, are all invited to a baby shower for Jaimie Lalonde and baby Noah!!! It will be on Tuesday, October 22 at 7 pm @ Barb Hildebrandt’s (25 Cameron Close, Lacombe). Come for an evening of celebrating this new life and fellowship. We will be hosting a Newcomers Lunch on Sunday, October 27th, immediately following the worship service. If you have recently started attending LFBC and haven’t been to a Newcomer’s Lunch yet, than this one is for you! The leadership team would like to invite you for lunch and fellowship after the morning service. This is a great time to get to know each other, ask questions, and get connected. We will be having a virtual Mexico Info night on October 10th (Thursday), so if you have any youth or parents who would like more info, they can join! I just need an email or phone # and I can send you the link to the meeting 🙂 There will be a Vancouver info night in early October, Date TBA.
The Trips will take place in March 2025 between March 21-28. Cost is $850 per person for Vancouver or $2,300 per person.

This fundraiser allows CAYU to keep operating and bringing the Hope of Jesus to youth and young families in your community. We hope to see you at the Pentagon Farm Centre on November 16th @ 4:30pm!
